We're excited to announce that elections for the Class Council will be opening on Wednesday, October 16th!
Class Council is a wonderful way to get involved in the MIT community by representing and supporting your fellow class. We'll be holding elections for 2028 Class Council (President, Vice President, Secretary, Treasurer, Publicity Chair(s), Social Chair(s)) and 2026 Social Chair(s).
To those who are not interested in running, please still look out for emails and updates on the election process so you can support your classmates. Class participation is an essential component of each year's elections.
If you're interested in running for Class Council, please follow the instructions in the "Becoming a Candidate" document linked in the Google Drive folder below. This is a bit of a lengthy process, and all the completed forms are due at 5pm on Friday, October 4th.
There will be a meeting for official candidates at 8pm on Tuesday, October 7th. If you are interested in running and cannot attend this meeting, please let us know, and we can work something out.
If you have any questions, please feel free to email us at ua-elect@mit.edu! We're here to help.
